Virginia L Yanuszeski

Virginia L. Yanuszeski, 88 of Kendallville, passed away on March 22, 2017 at Presence Sacred Heart in Avilla. She had been in failing health for several months.  Mrs. Yanuszeski was born January 11, 1929 in Kendallville, to Robert and Gladys (Turney) Whitford. She was a lifelong resident of Noble County and graduated Kendallville High School in 1947. On March 15, 1972 she married Richard Yanuszeski. Mrs. Yanuszeski worked at Flint-Walling Company in the personnel office. Mrs. Yanuszeski and her husband Richard loved traveling visiting Florida, Texas, Las Vegas, and And Washington State. Mrs. Yanuszeski was an avid bowler, is a member of the Kendallville Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame, 50 year member of WIBC, and Life Member of the Kendallville VFW Post 2749 Ladies Auxiliary.

 

Surviving husband Richard of Kendallville, sons Stan (Sonya) Randol of Ft. Wayne, Rick (Jan Richardson) Randol of Kendallville, and daughter Jolene (David) Robinson of Seattle, Washington.  There are also 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack Whitford, and sisters, Roberta Hile and Patricia Gillard.  Services are Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 2:00pm at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N. Main Street, Avilla. Visitation will be Noon until service time. Graveside Service to follow at Hooper King Cemetery.
