Albion - Orland J. Leitch, 78, of Albion, passed away on Friday June 2, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne surrounded by his family.  He was born on Aug 5, 1938 in Wolf Lake to the late Owen and Dorthy (Potter) Leitch.  He attended school in Rome City until his sophomore year when he moved to White Pigeon, Michigan where he graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1956.  Upon graduation, he joined the US Army, serving with the 10th Mountain Division during the occupation of Europe.  Later, he was assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division at Fort Benning, GA.  In 1961, he married Judith M. Stull in Whiteland, IN.  She survives in Albion.  Mr. Leitch retired from Silgan Plastics in Ligonier.  He was a life member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, American Motorcycle Association, NRA, and American Legion Post #246 Albion.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife on his Goldwing.  In addition to his wife Judith Leitch of Albion, he is survived by his children, Mary Ann (Mark) Troutner of Albion, Michael Owen (Teresa) Leitch of Tampa, FL, Martin J. Leitch, of Albion, Marla Marie (Ron) Pratt of Albion, and Mark John (Leslie) Leitch of New Haven.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and sister, Fay Malony of Albion.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bryan W. Leitch, and Marion E. Leitch, and sisters, Beulah Miller, and Alice Huff. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation one hour prior.  Visitation also from 2-4 & 6-8pm Tuesday June 6, 2017 at the funeral home.  Burial with military honors will be at Rose Hill Cemetery following the services.  Memroials may be directed to the family.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
