Mike Jackson

Mike B. Jackson, 66, of Albion, passed away at his home in Albion.  He was born on June 9, 1950 in Fort Wayne to Boyd and Phyllis Jackson.  He was a US Army Veteran, and a member of the Garrett American Legion Post #178.  He is survived by a son, Austin Jackson of Angola, daughters, Ashley (Shawn) Fortier of Garrett, and Amanda Jackson of Fort Wayne.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Abbey, Alexis, and Wyatt, and sisters, Joyce, Karen, Susan, and Kathy.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Tim and Dave.  A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla.  Burial with military honors will be held at a later date at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.  Memorial contributions are to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
