Mary (Masters) Gienger

Avilla - Mary M. Gienger, 52, of Avilla, passed away on Friday July 7, 2017 in Kendallville.  She was born on Oct 20, 1964 in Hazard, Kentucky to Carl Masters and Dorothy Mullins.  She was a member of the Avilla American Legion Post #240, and enjoyed gardening and socializing with her friends.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.  Mary is survived by a son, Derick Gienger of Avilla, daughter, Sabra (Skylar) Bradley of Fort Wayne, mother, Dorothy (Roger) Engle of Kendallville, brothers, Glen Masters and Ray (Irasema Espinoza) Masters both of Kendallville, and sisters, Brenda (Randy) Farmer of Kendallville, and Sharon (Gary) Masters of Rome City.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Chloe, Layla, and Arya Bradley.  She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Masters, maternal grandparents, Maggie and Orville Mullins, and paternal grandparents, LulaMae and McKinley Masters.  Funeral Service will be 11:00am Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Destiny Family of Faith, 445 N Riley St, Kendallville, with visitation one hour prior.  Pastor Mike Albaugh officiating.  Visitation also from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Destiny Family of Faith.  Burial at Orange Township Cemetery, Rome City.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com.  Arrangements by Harper Funeral Homes, Avilla Chapel, 530 N Main St., Avilla.
