Albion - Linda A. Taylor, 75, of Albion, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. Linda was born June 8, 1943 in Fonde, KY to John and Nannie (Douglas) Welch. She married Harry L. Taylor on March 21, 1998 at Goose Lake, Columbia City, IN. She was a cook at Parkview Noble Hospital and had worked at several different places – never wanting to stop working.
She was a member of the Wolf Lake VFW, Noble County EMS volunteer, and sold Avon.
Linda served as a den mother for her sons Cub Scout Troops when they were young.
Survivors include her husband, Harry L. Taylor of Albion; mother: Nannie Bricker of Albion; sons, Mark (Emily) Hunter, of Albion, and Jeff (Cathy) Hunter, of Kendallville; Martin (Heather Jones) Casey, of Etna Green, IN; daughter, Penny (Chris) Rogers, of Ft. Wayne, step daughter, Tara Cooper, of Kendallville; and a brother, Charles P. Welch, New Knoxville, OH. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and her loving pet, Scooter.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, John Welch, brother, John C. Welch; sister, Emma Sue Welch, and grandchild, Madison Leigh Cooper.
A memorial service will take place 11:00am Friday October 5, 2018 at the Albion Wesleyan Church, 800 E. Main St., Albion, with visitation one hour prior.
