Craig Owen Zell

Craig Owen Zell, 33, of New Castle, Indiana died suddenly at his home on April 25, 2017.  He was born at Fort Hood, Texas to Donald and Darby (Gaff) Zell. The family moved to Noble county in 1984. Craig was a 2001 graduate of Central Noble High School, and moved to New Castle in 2004.  He was the Plant Manager of JD Norman Industries located in Winchester, Indiana.  Previously, he worked for Caterpillar Corporation at the Muncie plant, and also for Delphi in New Castle.  Craig was a thoughtful and a caring person who wasn't afraid of hard work.  He loved his three dogs Bailey, Dug, Dixie.  Craig enjoyed all sports, especially golf.  He was an avid IU and Indianapolis Colts fan.  He is survied by his wife, Dannielle Zell of New Castle, mother, Darby Zell of Noble County, aunt, Donna & Shannon Ruby,  uncles, Doug and Jenny Gaff of Albion, and Dale and Lisa Gaff of Columbia City, and grandparents, Stanley and Priscilla Gaff of Noble County. He was preceded in death by his father.  Funeral service is 2:00pm Saturday April 29, 2017 at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Ormas-Thorn Cemetery.  Memorials in Craig's memory are to a charity of the donors choice.  To leave online condolences, visit www.harperfuneralhomes.com
